Tooling Design Engineer Bolton | 12-Month Contract | £50 Per Hour (Inside IR35) Our client, a leading engineering organisation within the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sector, is looking to recruit an experienced Tooling Design Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex engineering programmes, delivering innovative tooling solutions that support the manufacture and assembly of highly sophisticated products. You'll be joining a busy and growing team where your expertise in 3D design, technical documentation and engineering standards will play a key role. The Role As a Tooling Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing practical and effective tooling solutions while working closely with engineering teams and key stakeholders across the business. Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing innovative tooling solutions to support manufacturing operations Modifying and re-engineering existing tooling designs, models and supporting documentation Producing high-quality 2D and 3D engineering definitions from CAD models Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet operational and business requirements Managing your own workload, priorities and project deadlines Ensuring all designs comply with relevant engineering standards and quality requirements Essential Experience Significant experience within a tooling design environment Strong 3D CAD modelling experience, ideally using Creo Ability to assess and validate the quality of 3D models Experience producing detailed engineering drawings to a high standard If you're an experienced Tooling Design Engineer with strong Creo and engineering drawing expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
