This is a fantastic opportunity for a low voltage controls Electrician to join the company supporting a major project to produce a huge variety of electrical equipment.
Duties
As a suitably qualified electrician with low voltage control wiring experience you will be working in a clean, well maintained and well-equipped manufacturing facility in Erdington. Primary responsibilities will be to build low voltage control systems and install them into a wide variety of equipment, machines and rigs. Typically: pneumatic press systems, fuel injectors, heat applicators, conveyor systems and test rigs. Other duties will include using measuring and diagnostic devices to check, adjust and test the controls, along with supporting the controls technician to debug the software.
About You
Based ideally in Birmingham, you will need to live within a short commutable distance of B24 0QY. Demonstrable experience of building low voltage controls within a workshop or on-site environment with a strong electrical installation/engineering background is essential for this role. Minimum C&G level 2 or similar in an electrical qualification.
