About the Role
Synergy is a leading Scientific Services provider supporting global life sciences organisations. We're looking for a talented Analytical Scientist to join our growing team in state-of-the-art laboratories in Moreton. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with customer scientists and lab leads, contributing to the analytical testing of drug substances, intermediates, and finished medicines in a regulated GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytical Testing & Laboratory Work
- Plan and perform analytical testing in line with GMP requirements using: HPLC, Karl Fischer, Dissolution testing, and additional analytical techniques as required.
- Support analytical investigations and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Contribute to method development, evaluation, and validation activities.
- Ensure accurate, compliant documentation aligned with cGMP and ALCOA+ principles.
- Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Support audit readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Adhere to all regulatory, statutory, and client-defined standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on lab safety and compliance.
- Proactively identify risks and implement solutions.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (Lab Leads, Quality, EHS, Compliance).
- Work collaboratively across Synergy and customer teams.
- Represent Synergy professionally at all times.
About You
- Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and other analytical techniques.
- Proven experience working within a GMP laboratory environment.
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong team player with a customer-focused mindset.
- Highly organised, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
