Procurement Manager
- Stevenage or Bristol (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
- 40-45 per hour Umbrella
- 9 Month Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a leading organisation operating within a complex engineering and technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong commercial and supplier management experience to play a key role in supporting critical programmes, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving value throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with UK and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contractual agreements
- Support new business activity and subcontract placement
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery against contractual obligations
- Manage supply chain challenges, including obsolescence and risk mitigation
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure programme requirements are met
Essential Skills & Experience
- Procurement, commercial, contract management or supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience operating within a customer/supplier environment
- Commercial acumen with the ability to manage contractual terms and conditions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
