- Technical Export Sales Manager

VERDER GROUP (CARBOLITE GERO LTD) are looking to appoint a Technical Export Sales Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate the benefits of our products to our international clients.
- Primary responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and expand the reach of our products.
- Technical background to support our international market units with end customer business.
- Carrying out tests and feasibility studies in our demo centre.
- Preparation of quotations and calculations.
- Main contact for the worldwide sales partners.
- Manage export territories effectively to support sales targets and budget goals.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with customers, intercompany offices, and channel partners.
- Coordinate and lead customer seminars, technical meetings, and training sessions onsite.
- Plan and manage exhibitions and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
- Deliver technical support and guidance to customers as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments on product development and recommend new product opportunities.
- Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
- Commercially astute with excellent analytical abilities.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with technical products.
- Demonstrated success in managing and motivating distributor networks.
- Highly motivated, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong presentation and IT skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally (1 week per month).
- Laboratory equipment/scientific environment experience (desirable)
- Full Driving License (essential)
