b Overview /b p In this Senior QA Chemist role, you will own and continuously improve the site’s quality assurance activities to ensure compliant, safe products. You will operate within a cross-functional team to embed quality across manufacturing, development, and support functions. The role involves audits, CAPA, deviation investigations and documentation control, with a view to sustaining a strong quality culture. You will become a subject matter expert within an international organisation and contribute to diverse projects in a regulated environment. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 6% employer contribution pension /li li free parking /li li free on site gym /li li private health and life insurance /li li training and development opportunities /li li Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Support and maintain site compliance with BS EN ISO 22716 Cosmetics GMP and the Quality Management System /li li Review batch manufacturing records and documentation to support product release /li li Dispo sition and release of materials and finished products per procedures /li li Review and approve master batch records and controlled quality docs /li li Draft, review, and maintain SOPs and quality records /li li Lead or support investigations into deviations, non-conformances, complaints; coordinate CAPAs and root-cause analysis /li li Manage change-control activities and ensure proper assessment and implementation of changes /li li Develop to site SME for QMS systems and act as a contact across the site /li li Lead internal audits and support supplier and external audits /li li Maintain Quality Assurance Agreements with customers and suppliers /li li Monitor Quality KPIs and identify risks and improvement opportunities /li li Provide QA guidance and training to colleagues on quality responsibilities /li li Prepare and present quality reports, metrics and trends for stakeholders /li li Collaborate with SHE, HR, Production, Process R D, Engineering to embed quality in operations /li li Support SHE initiatives with chemical and process-safety awareness /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Approximately five years’ QA experience in chemical manufacturing or similarly regulated environments /li li Degree, HNC, or HND in chemistry, pharmaceutical science or related field (or substantial industry experience) /li li Experience planning and supporting internal audits (external audits preferred) /li li Strong practical experience with a Quality Management System /li li Ability to assess quality and compliance risks and escalate appropriately /li li Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain quality requirements across functions /li li Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management /li li Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently while contributing to the team /li li Practical awareness of chemical and process safety in a manufacturing setting /li li Experience supporting or leading SHE improvement activities /li li Commitment to continuous improvement and quality as a shared responsibility /li /ul ul li cross-functional collaboration /li li problem-solving /li li proactive communication /li li BS EN ISO 22716 Cosmetics GMP /li li Quality Management System (QMS) /li li CAPA and root-cause analysis /li /ul
