EVENTS ASSISTANT
Job description
At Carbis Bay Estate we are currently seeking an experienced and talented events assistant to join our team.
The role: You are required to work within the events team. This entails assisting in the management of all events, large and small, including weddings, conferences, banquets, private dinners and parties in the properties belonging to Carbis Bay Hotel and Estate.
Duties include:
- Liaising with the events management team, you are to assist with maintaining constant contact with clients by telephone, email and in writing. All events and subsequent changes are to be made in writing to clients.
- You are to contribute in ensuring payments are made in advance for all functions.
- You are to assist in managing a budget for events
- You are to assist in maintaining a function diary for all events
- You will inform your colleagues in the team of forthcoming functions and attend regular staff and memo meetings
- You are responsible, along with the events management team, for driving sales
