Carben Controls is growing fast, and we’re looking for an experienced ICA Technician to join our specialist automation team working across industrial, water, and wastewater projects.
The Role
- Installation, fault-finding, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems
- Working with control panels, motors, VSDs, and industrial communication networks
- Supporting commissioning activities and responding efficiently to breakdowns and defects
- Working independently on site while collaborating closely with our engineering and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification (NVQ/BTEC or equivalent) in Electrical or related discipline
- Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs
- Experience in fault-finding and/or commissioning
- Knowledge of analogue and digital control systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Water & wastewater industry experience
- Process instrumentation (level, flow, pressure)
