Join Our Award-Winning Team at Carbase! We are looking for a driven and ambitious car-sales professional to join us as a Business Manager for our Vanbase team. This position plays a crucial role in the second stage of our sales process, focusing on adding value to every sale through finance applications, warranty cover and protection.
As a Business Manager, you will not only manage your own sales but also lead a small team of Sales Consultants, developing their skills, success, and output of KPI's and sales targets.

Job Description
- Finance Applications: Guide customers through finance applications to enhance every sale.
- FCA Compliance: Ensure all related documentation is completed in accordance with FCA regulations.
- Handling Deposits and Monies: Oversee the taking of all deposits and payments, ensuring customers are treated fairly and with integrity.
- Product Sales: Encourage the sale of value-added products, including warranties and protection plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of Sales Consultants, coaching them to success and consistently meeting KPIs and sales targets.
- Lead Distribution: Efficiently manage incoming sales leads and ensure diaries are handled effectively.
- Customer Review Process: Promote and support the implementation of customer reviews.
- Sales Campaigns & Initiatives: Assist in the implementation and execution of sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Support Sales Managers: Provide support to the Sales Manager(s) as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold a full valid Driving Licence
- Good standard of English and Maths
- Advanced, demonstrable experience within the car sales industry
- An in-depth understanding of Finance and Insurance processes
- Strong knowledge of car sales industry standards, including FCA guidelines
- Excellent ability to build relationships and engage with customers and team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage, support, motivate and develop a team effectively
- Able to work independently, prioritising workloads to meet objectives
