Analyst – Real Estate Capital Advisory

Some analyst roles teach you how to analyse transactions.

This one teaches you how to advise on them.

We're working with a highly regarded real estate capital advisory boutique that acts for developers, investors and property companies on raising debt and equity across the UK real estate market.

Advising on transactions spanning development, investment and value-add opportunities, the team structures funding solutions across the capital stack, working with banks, debt funds, alternative lenders and equity providers.

Working within a lean, high-performing team, you'll gain exposure to every stage of a transaction—from the initial conversation with a client, through financial analysis and lender engagement, to negotiating terms and seeing deals through to completion.

For someone early in their career, it's an opportunity to develop into a genuinely rounded real estate finance professional rather than specialising too early in one discipline.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly into senior dealmakers, you'll become involved in the evaluation, structuring and execution of complex real estate transactions across a diverse range of asset classes.

Responsibilities will include

  • Analysing development and investment opportunities from both a commercial and financial perspective.
  • Building and reviewing cashflow models to assess debt capacity and optimise capital structures.
  • Preparing lender presentations, financial analysis and transaction materials.
  • Researching lenders and identifying the most appropriate funding strategy for each transaction.
  • Supporting negotiations throughout the financing process.
  • Working alongside senior advisers during borrower and lender meetings.
  • Developing an understanding of how new business is originated and relationships are built within the real estate finance market.

Unlike many analyst positions, you'll also receive early exposure to origination.

As your confidence develops, you'll begin participating in discussions with borrowers, investors and funding partners, gaining first-hand experience of the relationship-building skills that underpin a successful career in capital advisory.

About You

We're interested in ambitious individuals with approximately 12 months to 3 years' relevant experience within areas such as:

  • Real Estate Debt Advisory
  • Development Finance
  • Real Estate Lending
  • Debt Funds
  • Commercial Banking
  • Real Estate Investment
  • Structured Finance

Exceptional graduates with relevant internships and outstanding academic credentials will also be considered.

You'll ideally possess

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A genuine interest in UK real estate capital markets.
  • Commercial curiosity and the confidence to engage with clients and lenders.
  • A desire to build a long-term career in an advisory environment where relationships matter as much as technical ability.

Why Apply?

This is a business where analysts aren't hidden behind spreadsheets.

You'll work alongside experienced advisers on live transactions, build relationships with some of the UK's most active lenders and property investors, and develop a broad understanding of how successful real estate financings are structured and executed.

If your ambition is to become a trusted adviser rather than simply an excellent modeller, this role offers an outstanding platform on which to build your career.

  • Other info
  • 20-30% discretionary bonus
  • Full-time office-base
