This is an opportunity to join a well-established real estate alternate lender as an associate in their origination and underwriting team.

  • Lead and coordinate overall due diligence / underwriting process
  • Review initial deal information and prepare the financial model in accordance with policies/hurdles to share terms with clients
  • Produce key underwriting documents, in particular, detailed credit applications, with direction from Deal Originators
  • Review professional reports and feedback issues, questions, comments to professional with Head of Credit
  • Proactively flag issues and potential risks to the Head of Credit; offer solutions to resolve these with minimal impact to clients
  • Coordinate and lead communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to new business development activities Input into development of changes, new ideas and innovation to the wider business
  • Undertake required admin and updates on internal systems; undertake or run relevant training and development activities
