This is an opportunity to join an established, well capitalised real estate alternate lender as a portfolio analyst. The role is a mixture of finance and analysis and loan asset management.

- 6-12 months of experience of working in finance, likely in an accounting / finance function (practice or client side) or some kind of reporting role.
- High level of proficiency in Excel
- Very strong attention to detail
- Able to manage and track multiple work flows

- Loan management: Supporting with reviewing loan agreements to on-board newly closed loans into the loan management system, as well as overseeing any loan amendments
- Monitoring the live loan book (including insurance, LTVs, covenants, monthly drawdowns)
- Assisting with maintaining financial accuracy of all loans within loan management system
- Assisting Risk team in reviewing key reports and updating internal systems / database
- Financial analysis: Assisting Finance, Risk and Origination teams with ad-hoc analysis (including collecting and analysing data on existing loan book for raising institutional capital)
- Generating & critiquing loan and redemption statements for borrowers
- Monitoring of cash and other banking activities
- Analysing short-term cash demands and inflows for treasury management
- Providing information and analysis to both corporate & fund auditors
- Assembling and analysing data for further institutional funding
- Reporting to external funding partners
