We are partnering with a stable, well-established investment firm to appoint a Finance Business Partner into a newly created role within its London team. The Role
This is a broad, hands-on Finance Business Partner role, working closely with the UK business and Group Finance. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the monthly close process, including reconciliations and group reporting
- Preparing and maintaining cash flow forecasts
- Producing KPI packs and management information to support commercial decision-making
- Supporting drawdown processes, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation
- Assisting with year-end accounts and audit, including audit pack preparation
- Supporting VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting requirements
- Playing a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, including in-year updates
- Preparing monthly Board reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and lender requirements
- Supporting finance system upgrades and process improvements
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant with financial services experience
- Strong technical grounding (IFRS / UK GAAP) and excellent Excel skills
- Comfortable operating in a stand-alone, ownership-focused role
- Commercial, pragmatic and collaborative in approach
Salary is up to £65,000 + bonus + benefits.
