Caravel are working with a fast-growing real estate debt investment firm in London to hire an Executive / Team Assistant. This is a dynamic role providing high-level support to the UK team, combining traditional executive assistant duties with operational and administrative support.
Joining a small but growing London office of a US finance firm, you’ll be a key member of the team, supporting senior colleagues in a busy and collaborative environment. Responsibilities include:
- Managing diaries and scheduling meetings across multiple time zones
- Welcoming and supporting guests
- Organising in-person and virtual meetings
- Attending meetings, taking notes, circulating minutes, and tracking action points
- Supporting internal and external events
- Arranging national and international travel
- Providing operational support to transactional and asset management teams (10–15% of workload)
- Processing expenses and preparing materials for meetings
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and office management
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, within financial services, private equity, or a similar fast‑paced professional services business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (intermediate/advanced)
- Energetic, friendly, and approachable
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, takes ownership of tasks, and shows initiative
- Thrives in a busy, dynamic role
