Building teams for real estate investors, lenders, and developers.
Caravel is partnered with a US credit fund to support their search for a credit-focused Investment Analyst.
The fund specialises in financing and managing bridging and development loans. They are seeking an Analyst or Associate with 2+ years of real estate debt experience in the UK.
It is important that you have advanced Excel financial modelling skills, a solid grasp of real estate fundamentals, and are a strong team player.
Why consider this role?
- The fund is backed by one of the most prominent names in the industry, with substantial capital to lend to the UK real estate development market.
- This is a great opportunity for an Analyst or Associate who wants to focus on the underwriting and execution of loan deals rather than origination.
- You will be part of a smart, collegiate team. They work hard (sometimes long hours) but maintain a positive work culture and offer strong compensation.
Required experience
- Excellent financial modelling skills using MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of real estate debt/lending—ideally in development and bridging—gained from 2+ years' experience in a debt/credit fund, bank, or other real estate lending business.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent team player.
Other information
- £60,000–£70,000 basic salary + a realistic year 1 bonus of 30–40%. Year 2 bonuses are typically 70–100%.
- Office-based 4 days a week, with 1 day working from home.
- Potential future opportunities to work in the United States.
