The Role

We’re looking for anAssistant General Managerto join our team at Caravan.

At Caravan, our leaders set the tone. As an Assistant General Manager, your role is to give the guest the best experience possible. You’ll support your General Manager to deliver outstanding results across people, product, place, performance and profit. You’ll lead from the floor: keeping every service flowing smoothly, building confident and happy teams and making sure our ‘All Welcome’ hospitality is felt by every guest, every day.

What you’ll do:

As Assistant General Manager you are responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests and team. To make that happen you’ll:

  • Ensure our food, drink, and service standards are consistently delivered
  • Recruit, onboard and develop confident, high-performing teams: making sure new hires feel welcome and everyone has clear training, reviews and development plans
  • Drive sales, labour, GP, and wastage targets while protecting the Caravan culture
  • Manage systems including Fourth, Harri, Mapal, Workvivo to oversee the rota, payroll and compliance
  • Maintain property standards, health & safety, and compliance with EHO/Food Alert
  • Contribute to management meetings, audits, and action plans

About You:
