The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead the bar team at Caravan Kings Cross, one of our largest restaurants, and home to one of a high-volume bar operation.

This is a high-profile role where you’ll set the tone for consistency, creativity, and pace, ensuring every service runs seamlessly while delivering outstanding hospitality.

As a Bar Manager at Kings Cross, you’ll lead a large team and a flagship site. You’ll balance people development with operational excellence, creating a bar operation that is fast, efficient, and consistently high-quality, all while making sure our “All Welcome” hospitality shines through every guest experience.

Flexibility is essential. You’ll be visible on the floor during evenings and weekends, driving bar standards, elevating service speed, and coaching your team to deliver the best drinks and hospitality in London.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Caravan Kings Cross bar operations, taking full ownership of standards, service, and performance.
• Build a consistent and elevated guest experience by embedding clear drinks specs, service standards, and ways of working.
• Act as an ambassador of bar excellence: coaching, training, and supporting a large team in a high-volume environment.
• Deliver engaging onboarding, training, and upskilling so every team member feels confident, capable, and connected to our values.
• Partner with the GM and site leaders to recruit, train and develop the bar team and rising talent, ensuring a strong team pipeline.
• Champion health & safety, cleanliness, stock control, and operational best practice across the bar.
• Monitor GP, stock, and ordering systems, ensuring efficiency and financial control.
• Support private hires and events, ensuring the bar always reflects the Caravan hospitality experience.

About You

• Proven success managing a high-volume, fast-paced bar in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality group.
• Experience leading, training and developing large bar teams with confidence and authority.
• Strong commercial skills, comfortable with GP, stock and rota.
• A reputation as a culture ambassador, positive, approachable, and values driven.
