About the job: At the Caravan & Motorhome Club, we don\'t just provide locations; we share a passion for the great outdoors with over one million members. As our Vendor Manager, you will be the strategic bridge between our Information Systems (IS) department and the partners who help us deliver our digital experience.
Purpose of Job
- You\'ll be the go-to person for managing our major third-party supplier relationships within the IS Department .
- Your main goal is to make sure our contracts and vendor arrangements are working effectively for the Club .
- Working with external legal support to ensure contracts fairly reflect the Club\'s needs .
Key Tasks / Accountabilities
- Building and running the process for how we manage technical vendors .
- Keeping an eye on supplier performance and reporting back with clear insights .
- Sorting out any vendor headaches like PO issues, delivery delays, or SLA slips .
- Helping the IS team get better at managing vendors themselves through training and best practices .
- Getting involved in contract reviews and making sure we\'re getting the best value .
Essential Skills & Experience Required
- Solid background in tech-focused vendor management .
- A real pro with tools like Excel and Word to handle data and reporting .
- Great at breaking down complex problems and presenting solutions simply .
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and different teams across the business .
