Job Overview
Title: Senior Marketing Executive
Job type: 12 month FTC
Reporting to: UK and Overseas Marketing Manager
About the job: Reporting to the UK and Overseas Accommodation Marketing Managers this position will be responsible for the successful execution of impactful marketing campaigns and activities. Working closely with product managers, the wider marketing team and external agencies to support the development and implementation of our CRM strategy, identifying key member segments and opportunities for personalised communication to drive member engagement and growth that deliver against bookings targets and objectives for the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
- Campaign Management and execution of marketing campaigns ensuring use of
the most effective communications channels. Including but not limited to CRM,
Email, E-Newletter, Club magazine, App push notifications, SMS, from brief
development and content creation to segmentation, deployment, and reporting. - Work closely with the Marketing Managers and product owners to identify key
areas of focus and make recommendations that drive marketing performance. - Responsible for the creation of marketing communication plans – liaising with
channel owners to ensure the plans progress and meet deadlines. - Confident writing and presenting marketing briefs for internal and external
agencies. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of campaigns to ensure that they meet
agreed marketing KPIs and make recommendations for future activity. - Working with our CRM agency to effectively segment and target our member
database and deliver highly personalised and relevant messages. - Execute content creation across all media channels which may include
copywriting and image sourcing/curation. - Proofread and liaise with product teams to ensure the communications contain
correct information across all media channels. - Assist with budget management, ensuring POs and invoices are processed in a
timely manner and spend is accurately recorded. - Ensure all marketing activity adheres to brand positioning and guidelines and
conforms to the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks (i.e. DPA, GDPR,
PECR, ASA). - Contributing to market research and competitor analysis.
- Any other duties and projects as directed by the Marketing Manager.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Educated to degree level in related subject.
- 3 years + marketing experience in an agency or client side within a B2C role with a strong focus on CRM.
- Experience of working on marketing campaigns across a range of digital media
channels. - Ability to work on multiple campaigns at once, prioritise effectively and meet
deadlines. - Strong written and oral communication skills and experience of stakeholder
management. - Proven commercial acumen, ‘numerically literate’, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Proactive, highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently on
their own initiative as well as part of a team. - Excellent copywriting and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ideally has some experience of UK and Overseas Travel markets.
- A passion for the outdoors, caravanning, or motorhoming is a bonus but not
essential.
