About the job: Assisting with the development and execution of the Club’s marketing strategy through the delivery of impactful brand focused marketing campaigns to drive acquisition of new members and customers and campsite bookings. Accountable for the execution of the Club’s brand strategy ensuring we continually evolve our positioning to drive brand preference. As one of the Brand Managers and ‘brand champions’ you must ensure every touchpoint both internally and externally lives and breathes the brand.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
- Assisting the Senior Brand & Campaign Manager with the development and rollout of marketing campaigns across the most relevant marketing channels to grow awareness of the brand to drive growth in memberships, campsite and glamping bookings and other associated Club products and services.
- Working collaboratively across the marketing department with the various Product Marketing teams, Digital and Content, PR, Organic Social, Publications, Partners and Event teams to ensure all brand building and/or acquisition focused marketing campaigns are integrated and implemented consistently across all owned marketing channels.
- Working with external marketing and brand agencies to execute best-in-class brand and marketing campaigns and ensure all activity is delivered on time and within agreed budgets.
- Experience of growing a brand through the utilisation of a multi-channel approach using both below the line and above the line marketing techniques.
- Experience of building and executing ‘paid media’ campaigns to support business objectives. This requires working with the Club’s media buying agency to devise the most effective multichannel media plans ensuring all campaigns are on-brand, impactful and achieve campaign KPIs.
- This role requires the person to work on a daily basis with our media agency therefore, you must have a high level of experience of campaign management working with media agencies across multiple paid media channels including PPC, paid social, and digital display platforms.
- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of all brand and acquisition campaign marketing activity. Measuring success, analysing data, post campaign reporting and identifying trends and sharing best practices for maximising return on investment.
- Monitor ‘brand health’, category trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats that could affect the brand to further improve the overall brand positioning within the category.
- As a brand ambassador you will support the deployment of the brand strategy, including but not limited to brand essence, brand values, brand positioning and brand identity ensuring the brand is correctly applied and consistently positioned across all internal and external brand touchpoints.
- As a member of the brand team you will support technical advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of the brand guidelines to external marketing agencies and third parties ensuring that brand integrity and IP is not compromised.
- Assist when necessary with the trademark protection of all of the Club’s IP assets.
- Ensure all marketing campaigns adhere to all local market regulations i.e. Advertising Standards, CAP codes, FCA regulations and Data Protection.
- Any other duties as requested by the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand & Campaign Manager.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience of the travel or outdoor leisure markets is preferable.
- Experience in brand, acquisition, product or campaign marketing.
- A strong understanding and experience of managing ‘paid’ media campaigns on PPC, paid social and digital display channels.
- Experience of working with media agencies.
- Strong written skills required including copywriting.
- Significant marketing experience in an agency or client side within a B2C role in a customer service industry environment essential.
- Proven strong analytical skills, based on a sound understanding of customer and industry insight.
- Budget monitoring and accountability.
- Knowledge of Google Suite.
- Able to prioritise and manage own workload, delivering on time.
- Degree educated or a recognised marketing qualification i.e. CIM desirable, or equivalent experience.
