Role purpose & Responsibilities

  • Support the Vodafone global account in all aspects of account management, client relationships and project delivery with a key focus on managing our markets.
  • Reporting: manage the global reporting workstream e.g. investment, competitive, KPIs, effectiveness. Support in the timely delivery of monthly reports to Vodafone which includes ensuring accuracy on the MMIR template / Wizard platform and ongoing usage. Global support for Percept and local teams for Wizard requests such as User approvals. Support with finance and billing teams.
  • Account Management: Strong communication and project management skills required to work collaboratively with our global team and colleagues across local markets. Requires regular communication with markets, understanding of their priorities, gathering and sharing case studies and inspiration and driving deadlines. Ensure project status is up to date for weekly internal and client calls. Respond to network and clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Thought leadership: drive process and support content for weekly and monthly sessions and newsletters. Drive agenda and overall process of aligning speakers, proactively suggesting topics and coordinating materials and input across internal and external teams and resources.

  • Media and Insights skills: Knowledge of the media planning process and how this applies to global clients. Ability to translate data & information across platforms, sources and markets and analyze for insights and conclusions which inform strategic priorities for Vodafone.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator: verbal, written, presentation, listening skills with internal and external stakeholders both senior and junior. High level of attention to detail with all outputs.
  • Teamwork: Understands how to handle difficult and sensitive conversations within the network. Checks in for support where necessary and manage up. Ability to manage direct and virtual teams across the matrix.
  • Self-awareness and organisation: Adopts an energised and enthusiastic approach even when under pressure. Project management skills to draw up plan for delivery of work to deadlines, with all milestones plotted; follows up key deliverables to ensure timely delivery and heads off any risk to this with proactive checking in. Ability to understand cultural nuances and adapts own style to fit. Respects differences in culture, approach and skillset. Proficient with key tools (i.e. ppt, Excel, etc).
