Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and passionate Marketing Manager to join a leading and well-respected music marketing agency specialising in marketing for live events, venues, and experiences. With a growing portfolio of high-profile clients across festivals, venues, sports, and hospitality, this role is ideal for an ambitious marketer with experience driving ticket sales and footfall who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments.

You’ll be surrounded by a team of experts in strategy, content, and paid media, all dedicated to delivering industry-leading campaigns that sell out shows and experiences.

The team need immediate support for upcoming shows, festivals and events, and a strong Marketing / Campaigns Manager to be able to hit the ground running.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, you’ll oversee multiple client retainers across festivals, venues, and seasonal experiences. You’ll act as the main point of contact for clients, project managing campaigns from inception to delivery, ensuring performance-led execution and ongoing strategic alignment.

Working closely with internal teams including a Content Executive, paid media specialists, and strategists, you’ll manage multi-channel campaigns (email, paid media, partnerships, and influencer activations) to deliver results. You’ll also support creative asset production, manage stakeholder communications, produce impactful reporting, and promote best practice in project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of client retainers (festivals, venues, seasonal experiences) from planning through to reporting
  • Translate strategic plans into actionable briefs across content, creative, email, partnerships, and influencer campaigns
  • Maintain strong client relationships with both day-to-day contacts and senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver aligned, efficient, performance-driven campaigns
  • Support content production and review assets including paid ads, emails, and creator campaigns
  • Manage campaign reporting and communicate performance clearly to clients
  • Promote best practices in project management, ensuring timelines and processes are met

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in event, venue, or live entertainment marketing
  • Proven record of delivering campaigns that drive ticket sales and/or footfall
  • Strong knowledge of performance channels: email marketing, paid media, influencers/creators
  • Confident client communicator, comfortable reporting to senior stakeholders
  • AI literate and keen to adopt new marketing innovations
  • Skilled in briefing and overseeing production of creative assets (video, graphics, content)
  • Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Familiar with key digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, YouTube)
  • Able to travel to Manchester/London offices or client sites as required
  • Degree not essential

Location

Hybrid, Manchester-based, with 2–3 days in office (flexible) and 2–3 days remote working.

Immediate start

Will also consider those that do not have full-time capacity, as long as you have 4 days of availability minimum.

Salary

£35,000 – £42,000 depending on experience (negotiable pro-rata day-rate - may be higher)
