A rare opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and performance-focused Head of Agency Marketing to take ownership of the marketing engine for a leading creative performance agency. The business partners with some of the most exciting names across music, festivals, live events, sport, hospitality, and destination experiences, delivering campaigns that drive measurable results.
You’ll play a central role in building the agency’s funnel, generating high-quality inbound leads, and ensuring the commercial team has a steady pipeline of MQLs, SALs, and SQLs to convert. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment and is motivated by clear, measurable outcomes rather than brand awareness alone.
You’ll be working alongside strategists, creatives, paid media specialists, and a highly experienced commercial team, ideal for someone confident, adaptable, and ready to take ownership.
The Role
As Head of Agency Marketing, you’ll run the day-to-day marketing activity, manage the full performance funnel, and deliver multi-channel campaigns that produce real commercial impact. You’ll coordinate internal teams when creative, paid media, or content are required, ensuring campaigns move efficiently through the pipeline.
You’ll need strong strategic, project management skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to test, learn, and keep momentum even when experimenting.
Responsibilities
- Performance Marketing & Lead Generation
- Own the agency’s Attract → Engage → Nurture → Convert funnel
- Execute multi-channel campaigns across email, social, content, partnerships, PR tasks, and webinars
- Build and manage HubSpot workflows and day-to-day CRM activity
- Deliver a consistent flow of high-quality inbound leads
- Track and report weekly on Leads, MQLs, SALs, SQLs
- Campaign Execution & Funnel Management
- Plan and deliver campaigns that drive measurable lead-generation results
- Coordinate internal teams across Paid Media, Creative, Strategy and Content
- Manage briefs, production timelines and campaign delivery
- Ensure output is accurate, on-brand, and performance-focused
- AI-Enabled Marketing
- Use AI tools daily for content repurposing, automation, insights and experimentation
- Support integration of new AI systems into the marketing engine
- Brand Growth & PR Coordination
- Manage day-to-day contact with the external PR agency
- Deliver content across email, social, website updates, case studies and hero assets
- Support awards, speaking opportunities and promotional activity
- Tracking, Reporting & Commercial Feedback
- Build and maintain tracking including UTMs, dashboards and forms
- Feed funnel insights into future activity
- Keep the commercial team informed of pipeline health and performance
Requirements
- 4–6 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally in performance-led, B2B, SaaS or agency environments
- Demonstrated experience generating leads and managing commercial funnels
- Strong multi-channel campaign execution skills
- Confident using HubSpot or similar CRMs
- AI-literate and comfortable adopting new tools
- Strong project management and ability to juggle multiple workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confident, proactive and resilient — someone who “cracks on” and learns quickly
- Able to work across sectors including live events, festivals, music, hospitality and sport
Location
Manchester OR London offices - Hybrid, flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
Salary
£55,000 – £65,000 DOE
