Overview: We are partnering with a leading UK and global manufacturing brand undergoing significant digital transformation. The team is expanding and now hiring a Senior Social Media & Content Executive to strengthen their in-house capability across organic social and content production. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who enjoys planning, capturing, editing, and publishing content and who understands how social can support wider digital activity. You’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing team, supporting across B2C and B2B channels.
The Role
- Organic Social Media
- Plan and schedule content across TikTok, Instagram, Meta and LinkedIn.
- Repurpose existing content for different platforms to maintain a consistent flow.
- Work with internal subject matter experts to capture content for social channels.
- Use the existing scheduling and reporting platform to maintain a structured posting process.
- Content Creation
- Capture video and stills using in-house equipment (DSLRs, gimbals etc.).
- Edit content for short-form channels.
- Produce natural, engaging content suitable for both consumer and installer audiences.
- Work with colleagues in Website and Digital to ensure content supports wider campaigns.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Deliver monthly social performance reports.
- Review data to understand what is and isn’t working.
- Feed suggestions back into the content plan.
- General Digital Support
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing colleagues on campaigns across web, organic and paid channels.
- Ensure social content aligns with key business priorities and wider digital activity.
- Stay aware of social trends and emerging platforms (e.g. Threads, Bluesky).
Who This Would Suit
Someone with experience at Social Media Executive / Manager level who:
- Has hands-on experience creating, editing and publishing social content.
- Has a basic understanding of video and image capture.
- Is comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud (advantageous, not essential).
- Can work across B2C and B2B messaging.
- Can collaborate across multiple internal teams and keep content plans moving.
- Understands how social content can be repurposed across digital channels.
This role requires someone practical and execution-focused, not purely strategic and not a videographer but someone confident creating content end-to-end.
Team Structure
You’ll work closely with:
- A Digital Marketing Manager currently supporting a major digital transformation project.
- A Senior team member who has been covering social and will now lead more of the strategic and operational workload.
- Wider teams including Website, Content and internal experts who regularly contribute to social.
Contract & Benefits
- Salary: Up to £33,123 per year
- 2-year FTC, with strong likelihood of going full-time permanent either before or at the end of the contract.
- Hybrid: 3 days in office in Belper, Derbyshire, flexible around team days.
- Mon–Thu: 8:30–17:30, Fri: 8:30–15:30
- 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.
