Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Child Care Workers to provide outstanding care for children and young people, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and respected, and work with a large established well known care organisation. This role requires creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. Role: As a Child Care Worker, you will: Provide a safe and supportive environment in line with the home’s mission and values. Care for children aged 12-17, supporting those who have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse. Work with neuro-diverse young people and those with mild to moderate learning difficulties or mental health needs. Promote good childcare practices and contribute to a relaxed and healthy atmosphere. Requirements: Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent) or a willingness to complete an accredited Apprenticeship. A positive and empathetic attitude towards providing care and support. Commitment to the development and well-being of children. Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours).
