Caraffi is recruiting on behalf of a global retailer for an experienced Technology Business Partner to support and elevate their Global Business Services (GBS) function. This role sits at the intersection of IT delivery, service management, and business partnering, ensuring technology solutions genuinely solve operational problems and drive strategic improvement. You’ll work closely with IT teams and the business‑facing GBS organisation, diagnosing issues, shaping strategic plans, and ensuring technology and service outcomes align with global operational needs. This requires someone with natural gravitas, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate autonomously.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary link between Technology and GBS, ensuring alignment across service and project delivery
- Assess operational challenges and create strategic improvement plans to resolve them
- Partner with GBS leaders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable IT initiatives
- Oversee delivery across applications, infrastructure, reporting, and service management
- Manage cross‑functional teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure outcomes are met

What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as an IT Business Partner, IT Relationship Manager, or Service Delivery Manager in a global organisation
- Background in GBS, Shared Services, or Outsourced service models
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes (apps, infra, reporting, service management)
- Ability to balance service delivery and project delivery with equal strength
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with natural executive presence
- A proactive self‑starter who can operate independently and drive outcomes
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capability
- Experience working with offshore service centres (e.g., India)
- Familiarity with multi‑geography operating models
