Head of SAP – Transformation, SAP, ERP – Hybrid, Bradford
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire with Hybrid Work Arrangements
Our client, a leading organisation in the region, is looking for a new Head of SAP to oversee the design, build and run aspects of the SAP and enterprise systems estate. You will manage SAP technical and functional teams to develop new solutions, working closely with various Stakeholders to drive organisational priorities and ensuring alignment with the Business and Technology Strategy. Your engagement will be from Executive level downwards, playing a key role in Executive Governance meetings as required.
As the Head of SAP you will direct a large workforce of in excess of 100 resources (internal & external), it will be your accountability for developing the skills and capabilities of this workforce in line with the SAP roadmap and overseeing the performance of 3rd parties.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
You will have a proven background in managing large teams in delivering SAP S4HANA and module upgrades end to end across an Enterprise estate.
Have experience and the ability to deliver on:
Delivery – Own the end to end delivery through to release and deployment and early life support of SAP systems. Provide SAP platform and development standards for project teams in order to develop solutions that leverage SAP best practice.
Business engagement and stakeholder management – Develop strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders in order to have influence and act as the primary contact for executive managers and stakeholders; Provide strategic thought leadership on the definition and management of the SAP roadmap.
Budgets – Plan and manage the budgets, extracting value from investments and achieving savings where possible; Delivery of accountable services and resources in line with overall Capex and Opex plans / targets.
Lead and manage people – Build high performing teams that can work flexibly incorporating hybrid remote working models; Be an inspiring leader to a large team, ensuring business vision is understood, cascaded and transformed into meaningful objectives for team members. Provide motivation, coaching and guidance.
