The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
Applications are invited for the position of QC Sampling Technician in the Quality Control Department. The successful candidate will be based within the warehouse areas within our Newry Facilities.
Main Activities / Tasks
- Sampling and labelling of incoming raw materials and the completion of all associated documentation.
- Maintain complete and accurate records and documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
- Ensuring general cleanliness and tidiness of workspace.
- Logging in of samples into the appropriate log book.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Essential Criteria
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above or 2 years experience in manufacturing environment.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and record results so they are clear and legible.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns (6am-2pm and 2pm-11pm).
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements while working with Chemicals.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Hold a valid forklift licence.
