About the role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team. This role is ideal for someone who:

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately
  • Repairing and replacing components with a focus on quality and durability
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure work meets required standards
  • Completing documentation clearly and accurately
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in line with safety expectations
  • Following processes and checklists to ensure consistency and compliance

You’ll also play an important role in:

  • Supporting colleagues across the workshop and other departments
  • Contributing to continuous improvement through ideas and feedback
  • Helping maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused working environment

What we’re looking for

  • NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent), or significant practical experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with a solution-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Full UK driving licence (D1 desirable but not essential)
  • Honest, reliable, and committed
