About the role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team. This role is ideal for someone who:

What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately
- Repairing and replacing components with a focus on quality and durability
- Road testing vehicles to ensure work meets required standards
- Completing documentation clearly and accurately
- Maintaining tools and equipment in line with safety expectations
- Following processes and checklists to ensure consistency and compliance
You’ll also play an important role in:
- Supporting colleagues across the workshop and other departments
- Contributing to continuous improvement through ideas and feedback
- Helping maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused working environment
What we’re looking for
- NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent), or significant practical experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a solution-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Full UK driving licence (D1 desirable but not essential)
