We are a leader in the second-stage motor vehicle manufacturing sector, providing market-leading vehicles to education, civils, charities, blue light and many other sectors from our suite of Minibus, Welfare, Pick-Up and bespoke vehicle conversions. CVM World has huge ambition for growth and we require a Business Development Manager to work alongside our Sales and Marketing team in a friendly and supportive environment to help us achieve this goal.
As our National Business Development Manager, you'll be playing a key role in strengthening our market presence and identifying new opportunities, particularly with fleet customers. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic individual with a proven track record in securing new business to join our team. This is a hybrid role where, after a short period of office-based training, you will operate from home, our headquarters in Stoke on Trent or the field. Automotive experience is desirable as you'll need industry knowledge to assist you in making successful pitches to prospective customers as well as identifying opportunities within our current customer base. However, full product and competitor training will be provided.
You’ll be competent and able to demonstrate:
- Strategic growth planning and the capability to generate new business
- Identifying opportunities and new target markets
- Ability to represent the company and our brands at industry events
- Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers
- An active listener and skilled negotiator
- Collaborative working with the wider Sales & Marketing team
