Chassisclean.co.uk requires hands-on workshop technicians to join our busy vehicle restoration and underbody protection workshop. This is proper mechanical, strip-down and refit work — not servicing and MOTs. You’ll be working on classic, performance and everyday vehicles carrying out restoration, corrosion treatment and rebuild work.
Responsibilities
- Stripping vehicle components and subframes
- Assisting with blasting prep and post-blast work
- Cleaning, prepping and painting parts
- Reassembly and refitting components
- Applying protective coatings and treatments
- Keeping your work area organised and safe
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical experience (garage, restoration, plant, or similar hands-on background)
- Comfortable using tools and working under vehicles
- Good work ethic — we are a production-based workshop
- Team player attitude
- You don’t need formal qualifications if you’ve got solid practical ability.
Pay Structure
- Basic Pay: National Minimum Wage
- Bonus Scheme: Team performance bonus based on number of vehicles completed each month
- Once the team completes more than 8 full jobs in a month, bonuses are paid per additional vehicle completed
- Realistic earnings once up to speed: £2,400 – £2,800 per month
- The more efficiently the team works, the more everyone earns.
