About the role
We have an opportunity for a Sales Controller to join our car supermarket based in Watford (stocking 2,000+ used vehicles).
You will be responsible for:
- Setting and delivering sales volume targets
- Upselling the benefits of finance and insurance products
- Maximising profitability per unit; Chassis sales and F&I profit
- Ensuring procedures are followed and keep staff in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Aftersales - liaising with customers to resolve aftersales enquiries
- Hiring and monitoring the performance of the sales execs and hold daily sales meetings
- Conducting sales training and mentoring
- Making sure customer experience is consistently excellent
About you
This role would suit a Sales Manager/Sales Controller with retail sales experience gained in the motor industry, who has well-developed leadership skills and a deep understanding of all areas of the department. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate proven success in management and that you are able to hit targets. You will need exceptionally high standards, the ability to bring new and innovative processes into the department and will continue to drive performance.
The Package
Basic Salary of up to £30,000 per annum, plus bonuses with OTE of up to £120,000.

Working Hours
This role is based on a rotating rota over 5 days per week. You will be scheduled to work either Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday, from 9:00am to 9:00pm. In addition, you will work:
- Friday and Saturday: either 9:00am – 6:00pm or 12:00pm – 9:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
A 60-minute unpaid lunch break is included on each working day.
