We have an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to lead our new Car Supermarket's in-house mechanical team in Watford (stocking 1,500+ used cars). You will have your own state-of-the-art workshop with the opportunity to build your own team of mechanics as we expand. Your focus is on delivering great results with a quality 'First Time Fix.'
What will I be doing?
- Overseeing a team of mechanics
- Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards
- Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation
- Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard
What do I need for this role?
- Your own tools to be stored in a secure tool box provided by us
- 7+ years experience as a vehicle technician
- Understand and comply with health and safety standards
- A full and valid Driving Licence
It will be a bonus if you had:
- MOT Tester qualification
- NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+
The Package
- Basic Salary: up to £60,000 (depending on experience) £80,000 OTE
- Annual holiday - 28 days
- Working Hours: (two different shifts available)
- Option 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm - Every other Saturday
- Option 2: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm - Every other Saturday
- Overtime available
