At Car Finance 247, we help customers find the right car finance through digital journeys supported by expert teams and strong partner relationships. Our Customer team focuses on improving the application journey, Members’ Area, and wider customer experience so we can make car finance simpler, faster, and better for customers.

You’ll join our Customer team as a hands-on Product Analyst, helping shape the digital journeys used by customers, partners, and internal teams throughout the application process and Members’ Area. This role is about understanding where journeys create friction, where we miss opportunities, and where better insight can lead to better customer and business outcomes. You’ll use data, customer feedback, operational insight, and stakeholder input to identify problems worth solving, size the opportunity, and define clear, testable changes.

You’ll work closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Customer teams to explore problems, map journeys, facilitate workshops, and turn insight into well-defined product improvements. SQL, product analytics, journey mapping, wireframing, and experimentation will all be important parts of how you work. We release little and often, measure the impact, and iterate. Continuous discovery, prototyping, experimentation, and A/B testing are central to how we build - not activities that happen separately from delivery.

Experience in regulated financial services, Consumer Duty, agile delivery, or modern product discovery would be valuable, but it’s not essential. What matters most is how you think: curious, structured, evidence-led, and focused on improving outcomes for customers and the business.

What you’ll do

  • Identifying, sizing, and prioritising opportunities across customer-facing and partner-facing journeys
  • Interrogating journey and funnel performance using SQL and product analytics tooling
  • Mapping current-state and future-state customer journeys and business processes
  • Facilitating discovery and design workshops with stakeholders across the business
  • Bringing quantitative data, customer feedback, and operational insight into a single view

Defining the work

  • Translating insight into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
  • Producing wireframes and prototypes to test and align on concepts ahead of build
  • Capturing data, regulatory, and non-functional requirements alongside functional ones
  • Working with Design and Engineering through elaboration to refine the solution

Prioritisation and business cases

  • Building data-led business cases that support prioritisation of the product roadmap
  • Quantifying the expected commercial and customer outcome impact of proposed changes
  • Presenting analysis and recommendations to the team and senior stakeholders
  • Acting as a key link between the Customer team and Product and Technology on cross-functional initiatives

Measurement and iteration

  • Defining success measures up front and tracking them once a change is live
  • Designing and analysing A/B tests and experiments
  • Closing the loop between forecast impact and actual impact for customers and partners
  • Feeding what you learn back into the roadmap and backlog

About You

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience in a business analyst, product analyst, or product owner role
  • Strong, hands-on analytical capability, including SQL - writing your own queries and being comfortable working with data independently
  • Product analytics platforms (PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar)
  • Experience of process and customer journey mapping, and of using the output to drive change
  • The ability to turn an ambiguous business problem into clearly defined, testable requirements
  • Experience of writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile delivery environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Clear, concise written communication that works for both delivery teams and senior stakeholders

Desirable

  • Spreadsheet or business intelligence (BI) based modelling, reporting, and presentation of findings
  • Experience within financial services, motor finance, or another regulated industry
  • Understanding of Consumer Duty and its implications for journey and product design
  • Experience of experimentation and A/B testing methodology
  • Exposure to data warehouse or reporting environments, and dashboard design
  • Wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, or similar)
  • Experience of partner-facing or third-party-facing products and integrations

About Us

  • Subsidised Onsite Parking
  • A great working environment with free fruit and juice bars
  • Birthday off!
  • Onsite Gym
  • Free transport to and from Piccadilly Train station
  • Free Barista bar serving teas and coffees
  • Excellent career progression
