An established independent garage in Harrow is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its team.
This is a varied, hands-on role requiring a capable technician who can confidently diagnose faults and complete servicing, repairs and rectification work across a wide range of makes and models.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Completing vehicle servicing and maintenance
Carrying out mechanical repairs and component replacement
Rectifying identified faults accurately and efficiently
Using diagnostic equipment to investigate vehicle issues
Completing vehicle inspections and identifying additional work
Maintaining high standards of workmanship
Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
Requirements
A minimum of four years experience as a Vehicle Technician
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Confident completing servicing, repairs and rectification work
Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Your own tools
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred
