We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MET Technician to join our busy bodyshop located in West London. Duties
- Conducting mechanical repairs and assessments on vehicles, including diagnosing issues and implementing solutions
- Using hand tools and power tools to remove, repair, or replace vehicle components with precision
- Performing heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assisting with vehicle preparation for delivery or further repairs as required
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during repair processes
- Ability to strip & refit without supervision
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role within an automotive bodyshop environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
