An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Car Panel Beater to join a busy, modern accident repair centre in West London. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and wants to be part of a professional team with an excellent reputation for workmanship and customer satisfaction. This is a well-equipped bodyshop with a consistent workflow, modern repair equipment and a supportive management team.
The Role
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards while maintaining exceptional levels of quality, efficiency and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing damaged vehicle body panels using recognised repair techniques.
- Removing and replacing damaged panels where required.
- Carrying out jig work and chassis alignment where appropriate.
- Repairing steel, aluminium and composite vehicle panels.
- Using specialist body repair equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Working from manufacturer repair methods to ensure vehicles are repaired correctly.
- Collaborating closely with Paint Technicians and MET Technicians to ensure a smooth repair process.
- Completing all work within agreed timescales while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working as a Panel Beater within a bodyshop or accident repair centre. You'll be someone who enjoys producing first-class repairs, works well within a team and consistently delivers high standards of workmanship. Ideally, you will have:
- At least 3 years' experience as a Panel Beater.
- Experience repairing a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Knowledge of modern repair methods and manufacturer repair standards.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- ATA accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A full UK driving licence.
