Diagnostic / Master Technician Salary: £45,000+ per year
Car Dealer Recruitment has clients in the Harrow Area looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians to join busy and growing automotive workshops in the Harrow area. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians at different stages of their career, from experienced Level 2 technicians through to highly skilled diagnostic and master technicians.
Vehicle Technician - £35,000
For the Vehicle Technician position, applicants should have:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- At least 2 years' practical workshop experience
- Good general mechanical knowledge
- Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Ability to work confidently and efficiently within a busy workshop
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Typical duties will include:
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Brakes, suspension and steering repairs
- Clutch and general mechanical repairs
- Vehicle inspections and health checks
- MOT preparation
- Identifying mechanical faults
- Using diagnostic equipment where appropriate
Diagnostic / Master Technician - £45,000+
We are also looking for experienced Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians capable of carrying out more advanced fault finding and complex repairs. Applicants should ideally have:
- Level 3 Automotive qualification or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment
- Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Ability to resolve complex vehicle issues
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of vehicles
- Previous Master Technician accreditation would be advantageous, although strong Diagnostic Technicians are also encouraged to apply.
