The Role
We are looking for a skilled, forward-thinking MET Technician. You will handle everything from basic panel stripping to complex electrical diagnostics on modern hybrid and electric vehicles. Your daily tasks will include:
- Stripping & Fitting: Removing and reinstalling interior trim, dashboards, and exterior panels.
- Mechanical Work: Dismantling and rebuilding suspension, steering, and engine components.
- Electrical Diagnostics: Reading fault codes and resetting safety systems.
- ADAS Calibration: Using digital systems to align cameras and radar sensors.
- EV Handling: Safely powering down and working on hybrid and electric vehicles.
What We Need From You
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an MET Technician in a busy bodyshop.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Senior IMI Accreditation in MET repair is highly preferred.
- EV/ADAS Skills: Experience with EV disconnects and ADAS calibration is a massive plus.
- Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and a pride in delivering factory-standard finishes.
- Driving License: A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
