We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, owner-run franchised motor dealership in Twickenham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join a genuinely independent, owner-managed business with an excellent local reputation, selling both new and used vehicles as well as operating with additional manufacturer Authorised Repairer status.
Unlike working for a large dealer group, you'll be joining a close-knit business where your experience and contribution will be recognised and valued.
The Role
- Servicing and maintaining new and used vehicles
- Mechanical repairs and fault rectification
- Diagnostic work and fault finding
- Investigating and resolving more complex mechanical issues
- Preparing vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Supporting other members of the workshop team when required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
- Experience working within a professional garage or franchised dealership environment
- Ability to diagnose and rectify faults
- Good understanding of modern vehicle systems
- High standards of workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
- A professional and reliable approach
- Previous manufacturer/franchised dealer experience would be particularly advantageous.
