This is a full-time, on-site role located in Barnstaple for an Experienced Mechanic / MOT Tester / EV Technician.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine vehicle maintenance
- Performing comprehensive repairs
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Carrying out MoT inspections
- Ensuring vehicles meet regulatory standards
- Maintaining equipment in optimal working condition
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, as well as Diagnostics & Repair tasks
- Strong experience handling Heavy Equipment and performing related repairs
- Demonstrated ability to perform Troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems
- Qualifications to conduct MoT testing (classes 4, and 7 preferred)
- Understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems is advantageous, along with a L3 / 4 qualification
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
