Capula Investment Management is a leading global quantitative hedge fund with an AUM of $30 billion. We manage absolute return, enhanced fixed income, macro and alpha strategies for a diversified group of investors worldwide. Capula invests in a broad universe of asset classes, including fixed income, equities, currencies and commodities, as well as derivatives related to these asset classes.
We are looking to hire a select number of graduates to join our London office, starting in either September 2025 or February 2026. Capula’s Technology Graduate Programme is a one-year, rotational programme providing you with exposure to our range of Technology Development teams. You will gain experience with maintaining and developing our systems across the back, middle and front office.
Participants will:
- Support technology infrastructure, playing a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Capula's technology systems.
- Drive innovation, collaborating on projects to introduce new technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with various departments, including trading teams, to understand and meet their technological needs.
- Receive mentorship and training to develop a strong foundation in both technology and finance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
- Contribute to the implementation of new technologies and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in a quantitative discipline – Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or related fields (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD).
- Strong programming skills, preferably with some experience working with Python, C# and/or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate well in a dynamic, fast-paced and technical team.
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for working within the technology team at a finance firm.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
