About the Role:
They are seeking a Software Engineer to join the early team and help build the company's core platform from scratch. This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who wants to work closely with the founders, shape early technical decisions and build software around real operational problems.
The company has acquired a trusted technology services provider as its first operating platform, giving the engineering team direct access to real workflows, real customers and real business problems from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Build the first version of the company's core platform and internal tools.
- Work across the stack, from product features to backend systems and data workflows.
- Turn real operational problems into simple, useful software.
- Work closely with founders, operators and customers to understand what needs to be built.
- Help shape early architecture, engineering standards and product direction.
- Explore how automation, AI and data can improve how traditional service businesses operate.
Ideal Background and Experience:
- 3-5 years software engineering experience in a startup, scaleup or high-ownership technical environment.
- Full-stack or backend-leaning background preferred.
- Experience building products or systems from an early stage.
- Strong product instincts and an interest in solving real business problems.
- Comfortable working across ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Experience with internal tools, workflow automation, data-heavy products, AI-enabled products, enterprise software or SaaS would be valuable.
- Comfortable working closely with founders and non-technical teams.
