About the Company:

We are partnered with a fast-growing UK SaaS company building software for regulated financial and tax workflows. Their platform simplifies complex compliance processes by automating data capture, calculations, and submissions through intelligent software tools. The product supports accountants, advisers, and businesses in managing complex tax and reporting requirements through modern digital systems, improving accuracy and reducing administrative burden.

With regulatory frameworks becoming increasingly digital and data-driven, the company is building technology that helps professionals navigate compliance with confidence. They focus on building reliable, user-centric software that simplifies complex financial processes while maintaining high standards of performance, clarity, and trust.

About the Role:

They are seeking a driven Graduate Frontend Developer to join their growing engineering team. You’ll be designing and building clear, accessible interfaces for compliance-heavy financial journeys - where good UX directly reduces risk and cognitive load. You’ll help set front-end standards, shape architecture, and contribute to a growing component library. This is a chance to raise the bar, not just follow it.

Responsibilities:

  • Build clean, responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and React alongside semantic HTML and modern CSS.
  • Develop complex, data-dense interfaces including tables, forms, validations, and multi-step workflows.
  • Implement and manage state management and data-fetching patterns, integrating seamlessly with RESTful APIs.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of a shared component library and design system.
  • Maintain code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to shape API integrations and improve developer experience.
  • Work with product and design teams to deliver clear, intuitive user experiences for complex workflows.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, minimum 2:1.
  • Evidence of building end-to-end applications through university projects, internships, placements, or personal work.
  • Strong grounding in logical thinking and structured problem solving.
  • Understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript and modern React development.
  • Familiarity with state management and data-fetching approaches such as React Query, Zustand, or Redux.
  • Awareness of UX principles, accessibility standards, and front-end performance considerations.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow as an engineer.
  • Collaborative and professional working style.
  • Curious, motivated, and eager to develop technical expertise.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Java / Spring Boot, SQL, or API design.
  • Experience with Storybook, design systems, or front-end tooling such as Vite or Webpack.
  • Familiarity with Docker or cloud environments.
  • Experience designing interfaces using Figma or similar tools.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary + benefits.
  • Strong mentoring and development for early-career engineers.
  • Opportunity to contribute to front-end standards and engineering practices.
  • Long-term progression as the product and engineering team scales.
  • Hybrid working model, with approximately one day per week in the Royal Leamington Spa.
  • Product-focused engineering culture with practical Agile processes.
  • High-trust environment with autonomy and ownership.
  • Collaborative team where engineers see the direct impact of their work.
