They are currently seeking an experienced and commercially minded Underwriter to join our client’s founding team and lead conversations with capacity providers. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth MGA at an early stage and have direct influence on their products, processes, and culture, as well as building and leading your own team.
- Lead the underwriting of complex SME construction risks.
- Ensure compliance with FCA, Lloyd’s, and other regulatory frameworks.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction underwriting (contract works, liability, property, or related lines).
- Strong broker network and proven ability to generate new business.
- Solid technical underwriting skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and make sound commercial decisions.
- Ability to balance risk appetite with growth.
Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE.
