About the role

We are looking for a Client Director FTC Maternity Cover (1 Year) to join our MMG team.

Lead the MMG Client Team, setting the commercial and strategic direction for a multi-million-pound business while delivering standout retail media solutions that drive growth for Morrisons and its brand partners.

  • What you’ll do
  • Own commercial performance across the Client Team, driving delivery against MMG’s revenue and commercial targets.
  • Lead and inspire a team of c.32, creating a high-performing culture that delivers brilliant, commercially effective client work.
  • Build trusted senior relationships with Morrisons and partner brands, aligning priorities and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Set the standard for strategic planning, ensuring work is insight-led and delivers against both brand and Morrisons objectives.
  • Bring teams together across MMG, SMG and Morrisons to deliver outstanding campaigns, insight, reporting and client service.
  • Develop and grow your people, driving performance, progression, succession planning and strong leadership across the team.
  • Help shape the future of MMG as part of the Senior Leadership Team, championing collaboration, culture and continuous improvement.
  • What we’re looking for
  • Experienced senior client leader, ideally with a background in FMCG, retail or a similarly complex client environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering revenue and profitability targets and managing complex P&Ls.
  • Confident senior stakeholder manager, able to build trusted relationships and influence across clients, retailers and internal teams.
  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and financial management, with the ability to turn commercial data into clear actions.
  • Proven people leader, with experience building, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker, able to set direction, manage complexity and balance multiple priorities.
  • Clear and influential communicator, comfortable translating data and strategy into compelling recommendations.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset and the drive to unlock new opportunities.
