Due to an expanding relationship with a UK insurance firm, we are searching for a UK based professional with experience of French GAAP and the nuances of technical accounting & reporting within insurance firms.
Job Description
- The successful individual will be responsible for:
- Due to a key piece of work with a French subsidiary there will be a significant amount of new accounting pronouncements and implementations, requiring specific knowledge of IFRS and French GAAP.
- This position will work closely with finance leaders in the region as well as corporate accounting and reporting to ensure appropriate implementation of these new accounting requirements.
- Ensure the effective communication and adoption of French GAAP within global accounting policies across the region.
- Lead the development and implementation of an effective accounting compliance and adherence to it.
- Provide support & guidance on the technical accounting questions from a French GAAP and IFRS perspective.
- Manage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders within EMEA.
