Sales and Marketing Director – Captiva Homes
As Captiva Homes continues to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Lead to help build our brand and support home sales through eye-catching, creative, well-executed marketing.
This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a company that’s passionate about the Isle of Wight, its people, and building a more sustainable future.
Why you’ll love this role
You’ll lead the delivery of campaigns across digital, social and video — helping people discover our homes, shaping how they see our brand, and seeing your work come to life in a way that makes a real difference.
We’re building something different on the Isle of Wight: from EPC A-rated homes to rewilding initiatives, so you’ll have fantastic stories to tell and real substance behind the brand.
This is a hands-on, varied role where your ideas and energy will directly impact how people see Captiva Homes — and drive enquiries, viewings and sales.
You’ll help define how Islanders see Captiva Homes, creating content that showcases our people, places and purpose.
What you’ll be doing
This is a role for someone who loves switching between strategic thinking and rolling up their sleeves. You’ll be responsible for:
Brand & Strategy
Develop and deliver a marketing plan aligned to business goals, with a strong focus on driving home sales.
Create a consistent, compelling brand presence across all channels.
Help position Captiva Homes as a thought leader in housebuilding, sustainability, and community development.
Ensure all activity complies with guidelines and industry best practices.
Social Media & Community Engagement
Manage and grow our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Maintain a content calendar that promotes our brand values, drives leads, and boosts sales.
Deliver community engagement campaigns that support placemaking and connect with Islanders.
Share behind-the-scenes content, team interviews, and sustainability stories to humanise the brand.
Monitor engagement metrics and optimise based on performance.
Video Content, Advertising & Digital Marketing
Film and edit high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, and the website that showcases our homes and drives enquiries and viewings.
Manage all digital marketing channels, including website updates, SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
Create digital campaigns to generate leads, raise awareness, and boost sales performance.
Manage paid advertising to ensure effective targeting and strong return on investment.
Analyse performance using Google Analytics and other tools, optimising campaigns to maximise sales conversions.
Report on campaign performance and use data to improve results.
What we’re looking for
We’re open to different backgrounds — you might already be managing marketing campaigns in a similar role, or be a bright marketing graduate ready to step up and own a brand.
You’ll need:
Creativity, initiative, and confidence managing projects end to end
Hands-on experience in delivering marketing or content campaigns.
A flair for social media and content creation (photo/video).
Basic design and video editing skills.
Familiarity with SEO, email platforms, and updating websites (WordPress or similar).
A head for numbers — comfortable looking at reports and spotting trends.
Full UK driving licence.
The Interview Process
As part of the interview, you’ll be asked to present a brief marketing strategy for a new or existing housing development — including tactics to drive home sales. We’ll use this to understand your strategic approach and practical skills. Full details will be provided in advance.
Salary and bonus
We offer a competitive salary of ÂŁ35,000 per year, plus an on-target bonus of up to ÂŁ5,000 annually, based on sales and customer service targets. This makes the total OTE ÂŁ40,000. The bonus is discretionary and paid in two instalments across the year, linked to your individual and company performance.
