We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Planner to work alongside the Sales team to create growth opportunities with new and existing clients. You will be responsible for identifying key marketing opportunities, delivering best in class audience insights and supporting the commercial teams with your client and vertical expertise. In this role you will play a crucial part in helping drive commercial success and growth for the business.

You will be a true self-starter who can work collaboratively with multiple teams and can provide a high attention to detail. This role combines elements of commercial thinking, excellent communication, numerical analysis and multi-tasking. You will have experience in the media sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively identify market trends by researching current press and historical data - prepping team for effective client and category approach.
- Build relevant insights for pitch to prospective clients and new business opportunities.
- Responsible for growth strategy of priority accounts within the commercial team.
- Learn and interpret client objectives & media KPI’s to best formulate media strategies.
- Responsible for feeding research, industry trends and account knowledge into the business.
- AOV growth against key accounts and verticals through strategic insights.
- Support the sales team with identifying in-quarter incremental business and upweights.
- Clear understanding of Captify product capabilities and solution selling, proactively identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with Sight to produce proactive insights both at a client-specific and verticalised level that will drive growth and incremental revenue.
- Meeting with clients & feedback information gained to commercial team.
- Conceptualize presentation and collateral design with Marketing team for deliverables.
- Fully immerse themselves in the digital advertising industry, learning about one of the fastest growing advertising channels in the UK.
REQUIREMENTS
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with individual and team targets.
- Self-motivated and have an attention to detail.
- Have an organised approach and be able to meet challenging deadlines.
- Proactive approach with excellent communication skills via email, over the phone and in person.
- Passion for digital and always seeking to extend your knowledge of the market.
- Account management experience with a proven ability to grow relationships.
- Passionate about advertising industry.
- Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem solver with a proactive mindset.
- Strong understanding of how to use data and insights.
- Good presentation and storytelling skills.

- At least a year’s experience in the advertising & media industry.
