We are seeking reliable and professional Taxi Drivers to join our friendly hardworking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their journey. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.
Duties:
- Drive passengers to their desired destinations in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is clean and well-presented at all times.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on duty.
- Handle heavy lifting of luggage or other items for passengers when required.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details using taxi software.
- Assist in managing bookings and coordinating with dispatch as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to.
Skills Required:
- Proven ability to drive safely and responsibly in various traffic conditions.
- Strong maintenance skills to ensure the vehicle is kept in optimal working order.
- Have an existing Taxi Birmingham City Council Taxi License Badge (We can assist you in obtaining a Taxi License Badge if you do not already have one).
- Capability for lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and colleagues.
- Previous driving experience is advantageous and demonstrating familiarity with route planning and time management.
- Full UK Driving License & Enhanced DBS Check Required (or be willing to get one if you haven't already).
